If you’re an overseas student planning to pursue a degree or advanced qualification in New Zealand that spans multiple courses, the new Pathway Student Visa Pilot is tailored for you.

The start point could even be an English language course culminating in a qualification at Levels 5 to 8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF). However, you must complete the English Language programme of study within 20 weeks.

This student visa stream lets you apply once for a single visa that covers up to three back-to-back study programmes, for as long as five years, at one or more approved New Zealand providers.
